General Information The campground is open from April 1 – October 31. All camping units must check-in at the Registration Office during regular park hours. You must be age 18 or older to register for a campsite. Under 18 may not camp alone. One (1) registered camping unit per campsite. An auxiliary tent is possible; however, it must be utilized by the same family unit. One (1) family unit per campsite. A camping unit is defined as either a travel trailer, fifth-wheel, motorcoach, pop-up or tent. Each site is equipped and limited to (1) one picnic table and (1) grill or fire ring, unless approved by management. All CERA facilities are non-smoking facilities. The campground is intended for recreational family camping only. Fireworks are prohibited and Alcohol is not permitted outside of your own campsite
Bathhouses There are three bathhouses located in the campground. In order to keep them clean, they will be closed daily during various times. Please note that all bathhouses are non-smoking facilities. Pets are strictly restricted from these facilities.
Campfires Campfires are allowed in designated areas, grills, fire rings or approved fire containers. Only wood and charcoal are allowed to be burned. No trash burning is allowed. Only 1/2 rick of wood is allowed to be stored on a site at one time.
Check In & Check Out Times Check in is 2:00pm. Check-out is 12:00pm and must be done at the Registration Office. A CERA staff member must inspect the facility before check-out is complete. Please see a complete list of Cabin Rules.
Dumpstation Conveniently located next to the Rifle Range, Ceraland’s dumpstation provides drive-up service for two units at one time. Please refrain from disposing of plastic gloves in the system. Absolutely no gray water dumping on Ceraland property.
Emergency In case of an emergency, please call 911 and notify the Registration Office (812) 377-5849 ext 100 during the day OR Security at (812)377-5849 ext 108 after 10pm.
Guests Any guests visiting the campgrounds that do not have an Annual Pass will be charged the Day Pass rate upon entrance to the Park. No guests will be allowed entry to the Park after 10:00pm. Guests are welcome to stay all day, but must leave the park by 10:00pm. Please remember that there is a limit of 2 parked vehicles per site.
Internet Access Wireless access is available at various hot spots throughout the park. Please note that the internet is intended for web browsing, checking emails, and other low bandwidth activities. Gaming, video streaming, and other high bandwidth usage is not permitted.
Laundry Facility The laundry facility, located outside of the bathhouse across from the Rifle Range, is equipped with 2 washers and 4 dryers. All machines are coin operated and available on a first-come, first serve basis. $1 per load to wash or dry.
Long Term & General Camping All campsites must be neat and clean at all times. No permanent structures (clothes lines, storage units, or swimming pools allowed. Long term campers (6 days or more) will be required to trim grass around campsites as needed. Campers leaving sites unattended for more than 24 hours, should turn off the water. Additional decks and /or platforms can only be 3’ x 3’ maximum in size.
Pets Pets are only permitted in the designated campground areas (sites 30-41, 102-325 and pet walking area) and must be kept on a leash (maximum of six (6) foot in length) at all times and under your control. You are allowed to have a maximum of TWO PETS PER CAMPSITE. Your pet must be attended at all times and at night must be enclosed in your camping unit. Excessive noise will not be tolerated. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
Quiet Hours Quiet Hours are from 11:00pm – 7:30am. Dependents are not to be left unattended in the campground after 10:00pm. All guests must leave by 10:00pm. You are welcome to sit around your campfire as late as you like, but please turn off all radios and hold down the noise. Do not disturb your neighbors!
Security A night security watchman is provided for your convenience from Memorial Day – Labor Day from 10:00pm – 5:00am and is located at the Front Gatehouse. Please call (812) 377-5849 x 108 for ANY SECURITY issues from 10:00pm – 5:00am.
Severe Weather Alert Ceraland Park will immediately alert campers of any severe weather over the Park’s PA system. The Sports & Fitness Center will be open for your shelter. Please take shelter there if you have any fear of the weather becoming violent.
Trash Dumpsters are provided at various locations throughout the campground. Trash bags will be provided to you at the Registration Office. Please help keep our park clean!
Vehicles Each site is limited to two (2) vehicles per site. All extra vehicles must park in a designated parking lot, but will not be given a car tag. Campground roads must be clear at all times for emergency vehicles to get through. This tag is necessary for re-entry to the park. All motorized vehicles (including scooters) must be operated by persons possessing a valid driver’s license. Vehicles may not be operated on walkways. Golf Carts are must be registered at the Registration Office. Bicycle riding is not permitted on walkways. No bike riding after dark. Helmets are recommended.
