Program Benefits

Cummins Employee's Recreation Association (CERA) has been servicing the leisure and recreational needs of employees in and around Columbus for over 40 years. Our nationally recognized not-for-profit association (Ceraland Park) is dedicated to providing unique parks, recreation facilities, educational and self improvement services and programs. Our professional staff specialize in enhancing your health, improving your mental outlook and increasing your zest for life.

Benefits to the Company: How Can Ceraland Benefit My Company?
A good recreational experience can benefit a company in many ways. Not only is it a valuable "Perk" for attracting and retaining employees; it can also be cost effective. Independent studies have shown that through participation in recreational and fitness activities such programs can reduce absenteeism, health care costs, injury claims while boosting morale, motivation and increasing productivity, and that's good for business. It can also enhance employee camaraderie and interaction away from the workplace by holding meetings, picnics and other gatherings at Ceraland.

Additional Benefits to the Company: How Much Is It Going To Cost My Company?
Absolutely NOTHING! That’s the best part. There is no direct cost to the company with the exception of providing a contact person from the company to administer the program by occasionally passing out information and answering employee questions.

Benefits to the Employee:
What Does My Employee Benefit From a Ceraland Membership?

Ceraland Park offers a wide range of facilities, discount programs and services for your employees and their family members. Employees and families can participate in our nationally recognized facility featuring 345 acres of park and camping areas complete with all the indoor and outdoor facilities a family can enjoy. Individuals may enroll in our on-going dynamic recreation program catering to both active and passive recreation interests. CERA’s trained, experienced, qualified staff will administer the program FOR your company TO your employees!

The Affiliate Program: How Does It Work?
Your company can obtain membership opportunities for your employees that otherwise would not have these unique facilities and services available to them since CERA is a semi-private facility and is not open to the public. Memberships are available to your employees, retirees and their immediate family members for a 12-month period and entitle members full participation privileges to all CERA facilities and programs. There is a minimum of five (5) employee memberships required to get the program started.

Membership Fees: What Is The Annual Fee?
CERA's complete corporate recreation service is available all year round for only $200 per year or $18 monthly for 12 months and that’s for the entire family or an individual! Fees may be paid in full at the time of enrollment, invoiced monthly to the company or individual employees may use the CERA EFT Payment Plan. Volume discount rates are also available if more than 75 employees enroll.

Membership Enrollment: How Do We Join?
Enrollment is easy, and CERA handles every aspect of the program for you.

1. Company submits a letter to CERA indicating it’s interest in becoming an ACM with the following information:

  • Your interest in making CERA available to your employees
  • Approximate number of employees
  • Which payment program you would like to utilize (annual, monthly to the company or monthly EFT from the employees)
  • If your company will allow Membership Upgrades (Gold, Gold+ or Sports & Fitness Center Options) to be included
  • Whether the company will be contributing toward the membership fees for each employee. If so, state amount
  • The name of the company representative, email address and phone number

2. Once CERA receives a letter of intent from the company, CERA will supply the company representative with:

  • ACM Agreement for management’s signature
  • Enrollment forms for employees to complete
  • Flyers to post to communicate program to employees
  • Any other supplies the company may need to provide maximum participation

3. Your company representative would then:

  • Return the signed ACM Agreement
  • Fax or mail all completed and signed enrollment forms initialed by company representative
  • Payment in full, first month’s dues per number of enrollees or signed EFT forms from each enrollee

4. CERA provides to Company representative:

  • Receipt for paid memberships and signed Agreement
  • Membership cards for all enrolled employees and their family members

5. Employees are now ready to enjoy all of the facilities, services and programs that CERA has to offer.
